"What's your favorite Christmas cookie," she asked me as if I should already have a stock answer ready. The fact is that I adore all Christmas cookies and I had to think about it. Suddently my Grandmother's Ginger Snaps rolling around in granulated sugar danced in my mind.

"Ginger Snaps", I declared with purpose.

And so it was that Steff made "Mom's Ginger Snaps" below - the recipe is from allrecipes.com - they were the perfect sticky chewy.

There were not enough of these to go around.
